WLFC 88.3 Airs History Programs
Thursday, September 06, 2007

The University of Findlay’s student radio station, WLFC 88.3, has produced a series of radio programs detailing the history of Findlay College/The University of Findlay.

Each program is 15 minutes long. Two shows air each week at 7 a.m. Mondays and 12:15 p.m. Fridays. The shows air back-to-back at 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Sundays.

Currently, there are 70 completed episodes, and according to Chris Underation, assistant professor of communication and WLFC adviser, 25 additional episodes are planned.

Content for the programs is taken from Dr. G. Richard Kern’s first UF history book, “The First 100 Years,” and from the soon-to-be released update, completed by Kern in honor of the 125th anniversary of the University. The programs feature the people, circumstances and situations that have made the University the institution it is today.
