A large group started the 5K at 9 a.m. Oct. 13.

Jason Pitney won first place in The University of Findlay’s Homecoming 5K Oct. 13 with a time of 17:56. John Homan took second, followed by Jay Prichard.

The 5K and Little Oiler Fun Run began in front of Old Main, kicking off Saturday’s Homecoming activities. The event raised $2,800 for Open Arms Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services. The University also partnered with the A-T Cure Tour and raised $900 for that cause.
