Earlier this month, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) members Brittany Jones, Pete Dalpiaz and Jason Florence represented The University of Findlay at the International Business and Economic Research Conference in Las Vegas with SIFE adviser Gregory Arburn, Ph.D. Jones, Dalpiaz and Arburn presented a paper titled “Investment Strategies during Market Corrections: Strangle vs. Straddle Options Hedges” and received a best paper of session honor. Florence and Arburn presented a paper titled “Equity Valuations Dependency on Strike Expirations: A Dynamic Econometric Analysis” and also received a best paper of session honor. “The students worked very hard and represented The University of Findlay well,” said Arburn, who also served as a conference chair.
