Senior Forum Oct. 31
Thursday, October 25, 2007

The University of Findlay’s final fall Senior Forum session will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU).

Senior Forum is a flexible learning experience for people age 50 and older. Participants will explore a variety of topics with expert instructors from the UF campus and the greater community.

Each Senior Forum offers three informative and entertaining sessions – one in the morning, one during the lunch hour and one in the afternoon. Attendees may choose to complete the entire day of sessions or attend one or two sessions.

The Oct. 31 Senior Forum will begin with a coffee social at 10 a.m. followed by “President Andrew Jackson and the Great Triumvirate” by James Taylor at 10:15 a.m. A buffet lunch will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Greg Arburn, Ph.D., UF director of finance, economics and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), will present “SIFE: Student Entrepreneurs” at noon, and Alsbrooks Smith will present “Comedy and Spirituality in Music” at 1:15 p.m.

The cost to attend all three sessions is $15 per person. Individual sessions are $5. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day, and a coffee/tea bar is available all day at no additional charge.

To register, contact Joni Staldt, executive administrative assistant for the vice president of academic affairs, at 419-434-4553.

Reserved parking spaces will be available beside the AMU for Senior Forum participants.
