Families Welcome to Funday Sunday at the Mazza Museum Dec. 2
Wednesday, November 28, 2007

The Mazza Museum of International Art from Picture Books welcomes families to its next free, once-a-month Funday Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, on The University of Findlay campus.

Based on the theme of trains, families will experience a winter wonderland. Activity stations will include interactive story telling, music, art and more.

Special guest Kim Forget, Ph.D., director of the reading program at UF, will delight visitors with an animated reading of the book “Polar Express.”

All visitors also will have the opportunity to sign a large wall mural, which serves as a piece of art and as a “visual guestbook.”

Refreshments will be provided, and the Gift Gallery will be open.

The next Funday Sunday will be Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, and the theme will be “Join the Circus.”

For more information about Funday Sunday, contact Terry Olthouse, education coordinator, at 1-800-472-9502, ext. 4777.
