Pharmaceutical Expert from India to Speak Nov. 8

“Novel Gastroretentive System for Low Absorption Window Drugs” will be the topic of a presentation hosted by The University of Findlay’s School of Pharmacy at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Davis Street building, Room 104. Beverages will be served. Dr. Javed Ali will be the guest speaker. He is a senior lecturer within the Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, at Jamia Hamdard in New Delhi, India. The presentation is sponsored by the American Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAiPS), a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). AAPS offers “scientific programs, ongoing education, opportunities for networking and professional development.” AAiPS has approximately 700 members in the United States and has been active in the education and professional development of pharmaceutical scientists and engineers in the New Jersey and metropolitan New York areas for nearly 20 years.
