The University of Findlay is collaboratively organizing the India-U.S. Global Business and PR Conference in Chennai, India, with the Public Relations Society of India, Chennai chapter, and Prakruthi, Chennai, a leader in experiential training.

The theme for the conference, which will be held June 12-17, 2008, is “Business Opportunities and Challenges in the Markets of India, U.S.A. and the World – Building Competitive Skills.”

Papers may be submitted for consideration through Jan. 31, 2008. Students are welcome to submit papers. Abstracts and proposals limited to 150-250 words are acceptable.

The conference presentations will address business and public relations with a special relevance to India, U.S. and world business. In addition, the first three days will include an appreciation of the socio-cultural and economic aspects of India with site visits. The last three days will follow a traditional conference format.

A completed registration form and fees must be mailed by Jan. 31, 2008. The registration fee is $475 for students and $950 for all others and includes conference registration, activities, digital proceedings and two dinners.
