Friday, February 22, 2008

The University of Findlay will host a panel discussion with members of the U.S. Army at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the Alumni Memorial Union.

Approximately 30 officers, who are members of the Recruiting Commanders of the Columbus Battalion, will be on campus Feb. 27 and 28 for meetings.

Approximately 10 U.S. Army officers, most of whom have served overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan and Korea, will participate on the panel to answer questions and comments from the audience. UF students, faculty and staff, as well as community members are welcome to attend the discussion. There is no cost to attend.

Each member of the panel will speak on his or her reason for choosing to serve our country and will share his or her experiences. They also will discuss misconceptions about the military.

Individuals who wish to ask a question or offer a comment will be given an opportunity through a moderator.
