Six UF Students Chosen for All-State Honors Band

Several UF students recently were chosen to participate in the Ohio Private College Instrumental Conductor’s Association All-State Honors bands, hosted by the College of Wooster. Junior psychology major Sara Yahl and graduate student D’Andreu Lamb represented UF in the All-State Jazz Ensemble. Senior equine business management major Stephanie Loehr, senior education major Jennifer Westhoven, senior pre-veterinary medicine major Katie Beach and senior computer science major Marcos Zamudio represented the University in the All-State Concert Band. | D’Andreu Lamb and Sara Yahl, jazz band

The best instrumentalists from 19 institutions were chosen to participate. “This is a special thing for instrumentalists to be named to these outstanding groups, and we’re very proud of our Findlay students for being invited to perform,” said Jack Taylor, director of bands at UF.
