Senior Forum Series Begins April 2

The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning experiences for people age 50 and older, will begin its Spring 2008 session Wednesday, April 2, in the Alumni Memorial Union. Each forum consists of three sessions. All 18 sessions can be attended for one fee of $60 per person or $115 per couple, if paid by March 24. Attendees may also choose to attend single sessions at $4 per person and $8 per couple. After March 24, fees are $65 per person, $125 per couple or $5 per person and $10 per couple for each single session. The forums, consisting of a variety of informative and interesting sessions, will take place each Wednesday through May 7. The first program will feature “Tales of the Buckeye Tree” presented by Kent Hoiles from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. The lunch session from noon to 1 p.m. is “Great Decisions: Russia” presented by Dr. Andrew Ludany. The afternoon session from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. will be “The Tacketts: Singing Duo,” presented by Jeff and Sarah Tackett. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day and is served from 11:30 until noon. A complimentary coffee and tea bar is available all day at no additional cost.
