Mark Cassin Elected to Board of Trustees

Mark CassinMark D. Cassin, senior vice president of retail administration for Fifth Third Bank of Northwestern Ohio, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of The University of Findlay. The election took place at the Board of Trustees meeting on Feb. 7-8.

“The University is pleased that Mr. Cassin is joining its Board of Trustees. He will bring a wealth of solid experience to the position,” said Dr. C. Richard Beckett, board chairman. “His contributions will benefit current and future students as we look toward a bright and promising future of the University.”

Cassin joined Fifth Third in 2001 and has 28 years of banking experience in the area. He served as the 2005 chairman of the Hancock County United Way campaign and serves on the board of the Arts Partnership and Black Swamp Area Council of Boy Scouts. Cassin is a member of the finance committee at St. Michael’s Church and the finance committee of Blanchard Valley Regional Health System.

Cassin resides in Findlay with his wife and three children.
