The University of Findlay’s
College of Business will host visiting executive and UF alumnus Dennis Foster Monday, March 17, and Tuesday, March 18.
On Tuesday, Foster will offer a free public presentation at 12:30 p.m. in Winebrenner Theological Seminary titled “Integrity in the Midst of Complex and Difficult Issues.” Also while on campus, Foster will meet with groups of business students, lecture to businesses classes and answer questions from UF faculty and staff.
A retired telecommunications executive, Foster serves as a director for several public companies. At Yellow/Roadway, Foster is a director and chair of the compensation committee; at NiSource, he is a director and chair of the audit committee; and at Windstream, a spin-off of Alltel’s landline division, Foster serves as the lead director and chair of the governance committee and is a member of the compensation committee.
In addition, Foster is the principal in Foster Thoroughbred Investments, which specializes in breeding, racing and training thoroughbreds.
Previously, he was a part of the leadership team at AT&T, served as the president and CEO of 360 Degree Communications and completed his telecommunications career in 2000 as the vice chair of Alltel. Foster also served as a director at Alltel from 1998-2006, serving as chair of the compensation committee and a member of the executive committee.
Originally from Fostoria, Ohio, Foster resides in Lexington, Ky., with his wife, Patricia. They have four grown children.
