Saturday, March 15, 2008
The Kuenzli/Harada International Student Scholarship Endowment Fund was recently established at The University of Findlay by students and friends of The University of Findlay to honor Gwen L. Kuenzli and Fumiko Harada, Ph.D. Kuenzli retired from the University in 2001 as the former executive director of internal affairs and professor emeritus of speech. She also served as director of international student advising and the honors program. Harada serves the University as professor of Japanese and special assistant to the president. This scholarship will assist full-time international students enrolled in undergraduate study who have been successfully enrolled for a minimum of two semesters and maintain a GPA of at least 3.0. Approximately 90 percent of the undergraduate student body is eligible to receive financial aid. The University awards more than $25 million annually in financial aid to students, a significant portion of which comes from scholarship endowment funds.
