Bizarre Magic Show Friday in AMU
Thursday, March 27, 2008

The University of Findlay will host Brian Brushwood: Bizarre Magic at 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, in the Alumni Memorial Union. Community members and alumni are welcome. The cost to attend is $1, collected at the door. UF students, faculty and staff receive free admission.

Sherwood incorporates outrageous feats and comedy into his routines. Past shows have included fire eating, escaping from an audience-tied straightjacket, performing sleight-of-hand, breaking concrete over his head, sticking nails in his eyes, reading minds, lying on a bed of nails and performing the “human crazy straw.”

Starting his magic career in Texas, Brushwood began performing magic during college and has since appeared on national television shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and programs on ABC, NBC, FOX, the BBC and E!. He is the author of “The Professional’s Guide to Fire Eating;” “Pack the House;” and “Cheats, Cons, Swindles and Tricks.”
