Broadway Performer Tim Shew to Visit Campus

Broadway musical theater star and Toledo, Ohio, native Tim Shew will present a master class at The University of Findlay at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, in the Egner Center for the Performing Arts, Room 4. Community members are welcome to attend the free class.
Shew’s Broadway credits include Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables,” Nicely Nicely in “Guys And Dolls,” “Wonderful Town,” “The Scarlet Pimpernel,” “Sunset Boulevard” and the concert performance of “King David.” Shew also was in the original Washington cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Whistle Down the Wind,” and was in the movie versions of “Chicago” and “The Producers.” Shew will be singing, lecturing and working with several UF musical theatre students during the class.
Shew is visiting northwest Ohio to perform with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra in Tiffin, Ohio, on Sunday, April 27.
