Blackley Wins National Title in Long Jump

The University of Findlay men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams completed the first day of the 2008 NCAA Division II National Championship on Thursday, May 22, in Pomona, Calif., and were led by Kirby Blackley, who won a national championship in the long jump.

Blackley, who was named the NCAA Division II Track Athlete of the Year on Thursday, became the first female athlete at Findlay to capture a national title since joining the NCAA.
