Wolper Scholarship Aids Hospitality Management Student
Tuesday, July 15, 2008

The University of Findlay recently announced the endowment of the Paula and John Wolper Hospitality Management Scholarship. The scholarship was endowed through the generosity of donors and patrons of the Village Café, an on-campus teaching restaurant operated by hospitality management students and faculty.

It was established to honor the ideals that Dr. John and Mrs. Paula Wolper have brought to the University’s hospitality management program. The award is given to a matriculated hospitality management student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and a penchant for the hospitality business.

Approximately 90 percent of the undergraduate student body is eligible to receive financial aid. The University awards more than $25 million annually in financial aid to students, a significant portion of which comes from scholarship endowment funds.
