The University of Findlay recently announced the endowment of the Emma May Gray ’66 Scholarship Endowment Fund, made possible by the generosity of Gray, as part of the University’s 125th anniversary celebration.
Gray, a member of the class of 1966 and a history major, established the scholarship to assist students in furthering their education at The University of Findlay.
The recipient will be a junior or senior math or science major, a graduate of a Hancock County, Ohio, high school and have a GPA of at least 3.0.
The goal of the endowed fund drive is to create 125 new endowed funds for student scholarship, faculty development and program support. As of the launch date, 44 new funds totaling approximately $2 million have been created.
A steering committee consisting of University alumni and friends has been organized to provide leadership during the drive. Members of the steering committee are:

• Denny Zahler ’70, College of Business
