Ariel 3 to perform at Bach’s Lunch
Monday, October 13, 2008
The second monthly Bach’s Lunch of this semester will take place at noon Friday, Oct. 17, in The University of Findlay’s Alumni Memorial Union (AMU). The featured artist for this performance is a change from the classical sounds of the Harp and Flutes Trio that performed last month. The October artist will play a set of art and folk songs. Ariel 3 will perform the October show. The group consists of a lyric soprano, clarinet player and pianist. They will perform a number of art and folk songs including seven new songs that were commissioned and dedicated to them by Jose-Luis Muarta of Central Michigan University. All faculty, staff, students and community members are welcome to this free event. Bach’s Lunch is intended to give people opportunities to enjoy music once a month while enjoying their lunches. Next month’s performer will be classical guitarist Robert Gruca on Nov. 7.
