Family Weekend 2008

The University’s Family Weekend was Sept. 26-27, bringing hundreds of family members to campus and the community.
Nearly 200 family members, representing 17 states, attended classes with their students on Friday, and those families enjoyed a picnic lunch on the front lawn of Old Main. A bonfire that evening drew more than 400, with several winning UF door prizes.

The highlight of the weekend was the English equestrian festival and mini jumping prix on Saturday, which drew more than 600 people.
