UF’s Senior Forum Oct. 22
Wednesday, October 15, 2008

The University of Findlay’s next Senior Forum session will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU). The series will conclude Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Senior Forum is a flexible learning experience for people age 50 and older. Participants will explore a variety of topics with expert instructors from the UF campus and the greater community.

Each Senior Forum offers three informative and entertaining sessions – one in the morning, one during the lunch hour and one in the afternoon. Attendees may choose to complete the entire day of sessions or attend one or two sessions.

The Oct. 22 Senior Forum will begin with coffee served at 10 a.m. followed by “Going Green” by Michelle O’Dell, of Green by Design, and Dr. Michael Reed and Professor Dwight Moody, both of UF, at 10:15 a.m. A buffet lunch will be offered at 11:30 a.m.

Wendy McCormack will present “Habitat for Humanity” at noon, and Wendene Shoupe will perform “An Afternoon Concert” on the piano at 1:15 p.m.

The cost to attend all three sessions is $15 per person. Individual sessions are $5. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day, and a coffee/tea bar is available all day at no additional charge.

To register, contact Betsey Mascaro, executive administrative assistant for academic affairs, at 419-434-4553.

Reserved parking spaces will be available beside the AMU for Senior Forum participants.
