The University of Findlay’s College of Business welcomes visiting executive Ron Stupi to campus Oct. 23 and 24.

Community members are welcome to attend a lecture, “An Insider’s View of the Real Estate Crisis: How Low Will Our Economy Go?” at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
   
Stupi, principal and managing member for Quality Project Management LLC, is responsible for business development, real estate acquisitions and divestments and strategic planning for the $16 million organization. QPM has more than 100 employees across the United States and in 2007 was named one of Inc magazine’s top 5,000 fastest growing privately held companies.
   
Prior to joining QPM, Stupi worked for Travel Centers of America where he served as director of real estate and strategic planning. Under Stupi’s leadership, Travel Centers of America grew significantly from 75 sites to more than 130.

Stupi earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in hazardous materials from The University of Findlay. He is a member of several organizations including the International Society of Shopping Centers (ICSC), CORNET Global and the American Society of Healthcare Engineering.

Stupi is a philanthropic supporter of the University, and also contributes to other causes, particularly those related to cancer research and patient support. He and his family are involved with the American Cancer Society.
