Megan Garner, a senior business major at The University of Findlay, recently was awarded one of only 12 Jane M. Klausman Women in Business scholarships from Zonta International. Each award is a $5,000 scholarship.
   
Sponsored by the Zonta Club of Findlay, Garner qualified with 23 young women from 12 countries to compete in the final round of judging.
   
To apply for the scholarship, Garner was required to submit two confidential letters of recommendation and an essay describing her academic and professional goals.

Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. Nearly 33,000 members belong to more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 67 countries and geographic areas.
