Patti Beck Appointed President-Elect of NSEA

Patti Beck, director of student employment at The University of Findlay, has been appointed president-elect of the National Student Employment Association (NSEA) for 2009. In this capacity, Beck will sit on the board of directors and assist the current president until taking office as president in January 2010. Beck previously held the board position of chair of the Advancement Committee with NSEA. Beck is also a member of the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators (MASEA) where she had served on the board of directors for five years in the positions of vice president for professional development and president. She is a graduate of The University of Findlay with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master of arts in education. She has been employed with the University for 10 years, working in the areas of human resources and career placement before establishing and heading the student employment office in 2001.
