2009 UF/NMI Graduate Receives Mallinckrodt Award of Excellence

Amanda Hohman, a 2009 graduate of the Nuclear Medicine Institute (NMI) at The University of Findlay, was recently chosen by NMI and Mallinckrodt to receive the Mallinckrodt Award of Excellence. Hohman, of Tiffin, graduated with a 4.0 from NMI after completing didactic training at NMI and clinical training at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Mich. Hohman also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology and minors in biology and chemistry from The University of Findlay with a GPA of 3.94. She is board certified in nuclear medicine by both the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Each recipient of this award must meet three criteria. The recipient must have graduated from the NMI and passed the NMI final exam on the first attempt with a score of 85 or higher. The recipient must have a program GPA of 3.8 or higher. The recipient must demonstrate good problem-solving capabilities and an active interest in the nuclear medicine profession.
