Taylor Music Scholarship Fund Endowed
Wednesday, February 25, 2009

The University of Findlay recently announced the endowment of the Jack and Patricia Taylor Instrumental Music Scholarship Endowment Fund, established as part of the University’s 125th Endowed Funds Drive.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor established the fund to recognize outstanding students and to encourage the study of instrumental music.

Jack has served as director of bands since 1980. His wife, Pat, holds two degrees from the University: an associate’s degree in humanities (’89) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting (’93). She performed in the bands for many years as a community member and has been a strong supporter of the band program at Findlay.

The goal of the endowed fund drive is to create 125 new endowed funds for student scholarship, faculty development and program support. Thus far, 57 new funds totaling more than $3.5 million have been created.
