The University of Findlay will host a community garage sale to raise funds for the United Way of Hancock County. The cash-only sale is 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in the Alumni Memorial Union on campus.
   
The event not only benefits the United Way but also contributes to UF’s reuse and recycle efforts. Faculty, staff and students donated items for the sale, which eliminates unnecessary waste of unwanted items.
   
Items for sale may include, among other things, clothing, small kitchen appliances, toys, books and home decorating items.
   
Students and other volunteers from the University will staff the event, which is an extension of an on-campus Days of Caring project.
