The second session in The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning experiences for people age 50 and older, is Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Alumni Memorial Union.
Each forum consists of three informative and entertaining sessions: one in the morning, one during lunch and one in the afternoon. Participants may choose their own level of involvement – a single session or a series.
Each session is $5 per person to attend. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day. A complimentary coffee and tea bar is available all day.
The forums will take place each Wednesday through Oct. 28.
The Sept. 30 program will begin with “Nature’s Neighborhood” presented by Mitch Magdich of the Toledo Zoo, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. The lunch session from noon to 1 p.m. is “Hancock Regional Planning Commission” presented by William Homka, AICP chair. The afternoon session from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. will be “A Shakespeare Poem” with Carol Dale-Joseph, retired teacher.
