Rehearsals for The University of Findlay Symphonic Band will be from 7–9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the band room of the Egner Center for the Performing Arts on the University campus. 

Community volunteer musicians are invited to attend. No audition is required for membership; however, high school musicians are asked to speak with their band directors to be referred before joining. 

The band will rehearse each Monday evening in preparation for its annual Christmas concert, which will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. “Christmas Joy” is the theme of the program, which will feature traditional holiday favorites. 

Some instruments are available for loan.
