‘Internet Skeptic’ to Discuss Global Warming

“The Internet Skeptic’s Guide to Global Warming,” presented by Dr. Robert Wagner, will be the topic of discussion at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at The University of Findlay in the Endly Room of the Alumni Memorial Union.

The event is co-sponsored by the College Republicans and Political Science Club.

Wagner, who also is known as “The Internet Skeptic,” will offer an entertaining and informative presentation. Following the presentation, the audience is encouraged to ask questions.            

Wagner is a native of Dublin, Ohio. He has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University, and a doctor of optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Wagner served for eight years in the U.S. Navy following optometry school and earned the Navy Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service.            

While serving in the Navy, Wagner also earned a master’s degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma. He later taught economics at The Ohio State University and finance at Ohio Wesleyan University. Now, Wagner is a portfolio manager for a money management firm in Columbus.
