2010 Global Economic Summit

2010 Global Economic Summit

Paul A. Sears, Ph.D.Thank you for your interest in our recent (February 11, 2010) Global Economic Summit, the second Economic Summit we have hosted and organized on our campus. You may click on any of the sessions listed on the navigation bar to the left and be taken to a site listing the speakers for that session and its primary topics. On that site you can also click Video Watch Now or Download Now to enjoy a recording of the presentations for that session, with powerpoints used during the session also available. Biographies of the session moderator and speakers are also available on the navigation bar to the left.

If you had an opportunity to come to the Summit, then I hope you will enjoy revisiting and reviewing some of the important points made during the presentations by means of these online videos. If you could not come to the Summit, you can still benefit from the session presenters’ comments by viewing the videos of all of the Summit sessions.

We believe that our community and region have been enriched both culturally and economically by the varied global business activities of its member organizations, and the speakers at the Summit helped all of us better understand how and why that may be. We also believe that in an era of slow domestic economic growth, opportunities in the global business arena are more important than ever, especially for students who are on the verge of launching their professional lives upon graduation. Working together, we can all enjoy the fruits of global business.
