During the 2010/2011 academic year, the College of Pharmacy office of continuing pharmacy education introduced a series of interprofessional continuing education activities as a means to introduce Pharmacy students to continuing pharmacy education.  Each activity was developed to correlate with topics in the therapeutic modules in the Pharmacy Curriculum.  Speakers were selected on their knowledge of the subject matter, experience and teaching ability.  These interactive activities were accredited for continuing pharmacy education credit by The University of Findlay in accordance with ACPE guidelines and were also accredited for continuing medical credit by Blanchard Valley Hospital in accordance with the Ohio State Medical Association guidelines.
