Some book artists use borders in their art for a
variety of reasons: continuity, story elements, and decoration to name a
few. In our "Borders Exhibit" you will see how artists such as Jan Brett, Tasha Tudor, and Kevin Henkes use borders to bring depth to their art.
The "Mother Goose Exhibit" is a favorite of
Curator, Dr. Jerry Mallett. In this exhibit artists give put a twist
on many of the beloved nursery rhymes. Although the words to the poems
don't change, the imagery that the artists produce are quite varied.
