The Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion is The University of Findlay's hub for fine
art.

The
facility provides an elegant home for the
Mazza Museum of Art from International Picture Books and Gift
Gallery. The museum was relocated to the pavilion in 1994 from the
basement of Old Main.

The Phil Gardner family helped make the
building possible through a donation in memory of their wife, mother and
grandmother, Virginia. The Gardner family also helped to make it
possible for the growing museum to expand with a second gift to support
the addition in 2007. The addition included room for children’s educational
activities and space for the musuem's expansive art vault.

In addition to the museum, the building provides a beautiful, airy environment for the University's Department of Fine Arts. Students enjoy studying in the Lape Great Hall, which has a waterfall as its backdrop. Other
features include the Malcolm
Family Dining Room, the Pfeiffer Lecture Hall and the Dudley and Mary
Marks Lea Gallery.
