Sometimes artists make mistakes in their books and must rework their art. The "Oops Exhibit" shows just such art. Come test your wits and see if you can spy the mistakes.
In our "Media Exhibit", we show traditional
and alternative mediums that artists may choose to create their work.
The vast majority of art for children's book is done in paint, pen and
ink, or a combination of these, however, the world of non-paint media is
certainly growing. We feature art created with cut paper, graphite,
crayons, scratchboard, and collage, just to name a few. Artists such as
Jim Arnoski, Jeanette Canyon, and Barbara Reid are part of this large
and unique exhibit.
