The Mazza Museum Resource Center offers story kits
to help teach students about picture book artist and/or themes. Kits
include books, puppets or soft toys, and media. Each kit includes a
teacher notebook containing background information about the artist, a
book list and ideas for relating lessons to these books. These
resources will make it easy and fun to introduce art and literature by
these renowned artists!
Your class can learn about Norman Bridwell, Jan Brett, Eric Carle or
have fun celebrating the 100th Day of School or Dr. Seuss. We also have
kits that will reinforce skills like Maps and Poetry.
Kits can be checked out to teachers or librarians by visiting the
Mazza Resource Center. They are yours to borrow for one month with a
$20.00 refundable deposit. Reserve a kit by contacting Mary Miller by
phone at 419-434-4498 or email at email@example.com.
