Mission​​

Shafer Library provides access to information for research and learning; collects research created by the University; preserves history of the University; creates a variety of group and individual learning spaces; and delivers information literacy instruction to equip students for meaningful lives and productive careers.

Goals

Goal 1: Shafer Library supports student learning by providing English 104 and 106 students the opportunity to understand key library service points and information resources available through the library utilizing the Library Liaison outreach program.

 

Goal 2: Shafer Library supports student learning by identifying and eliminating duplication of resources thus allowing for additional acquisitions which will support current academic programs.
