Student Advising
1. Course code—includes 3-4 letter abbreviation and number; used to input schedule.
2. Section Number—defines which time and professor you are registering for; used to input schedule.
3. Title—Official title of the course; below title, official dates for the course
4. HRS—hours of credit counted towards semester course load; does not necessarily represent hours towards graduation.
5. Reqrmnts—Requirements
for taking that particular course and section; it may list fees, materials required, or special populations for the course. When clicked on, a separate window will open.
6. Instructor—Last name and first initial of instructor. A direct link to the professor’s email is provided.
7. Campus—Will indicate at which campus the class is being taught.
8. Building—provides abbreviation to buildings. See Building Codes.
9. Room—Number of classroom.
10. Days—Each day of the week is represented by its own letter; note that Thursday is designated by an “H” and Sunday is designated by an “N.”
11. Beg—Indicate the class start time.
12. End—Indicated the class ending time.
13. Total hours for which you are registered.
14. Section Title—Used when one course is offered on different topics such as “Topics in History—Nazi Germany” or “Topics in History—History of Baseball.”
15. Additional time slot indicates the lab time for the course listed above it.
