How well has
your son or daughter made the transition from high school to college?
University faculty, staff and a UF student will offer their insights into what
your son or daughter may have experienced and any concerns that have surfaced
in the first month of a UF student. Parents also have the opportunity to ask
questions about topics such as the impact of mid-semester grades, the need for
tutorial assistance, homesickness, social pressures, and time management.
Families
are invited to enjoy a picnic while watching a combined dressage and reining
horse performance and a performance by the English and Western Drill Team. The
final round of the Mini Jumping Prix will start at 2:00 p.m. Children
will enjoy the clown, face painting and pony rides.
