Alumni Association
The purpose of the Alumni Association is to promote The University of
Findlay through activities and events involving the alumni
community. It is also to support the University through annual
alumni giving.
We strive to increase pride in the University by
instilling a sense of belonging, encouraging communication, serving
alumni, promoting a positive image, participating and remaining
enthusiastic about our involvement with the University.
Cam
Taylor ’67 describes the ideal alumna/alumnus as a graduate who becomes
involved with family, career and the community. Another
characteristic involves alumni giving back to the institution that
prepared them for the life they have developed. Being a graduate
of The University of Findlay means that you are part of a “family” that
relies on all its members to do their part. Family alumni members
need to keep lines of communication open, help other alumni and promote
a positive image of The University of Findlay. Also, they need to
participate in events and activities and be enthusiastic about their
involvement with the University. Dig out that UF sweatshirt or
hat and wear it! You will be surprised how many people ask you
about your University.
Many times during the year we hold alumni
receptions in various areas of the country. When that invitation
comes, respond in a positive manner and come see who is in your
area. This may lead to the development of a Regional Alumni Club.
