5K Run & Little Oiler Fun Run                                            

Time: 8:30 a.m.
Admission:  $15 for 5K, $5 for Fun Run

Alumni will receive a special goodie bag!  All pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt and all Fun Run participants will receive a T-shirt and medal.  Join other alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members walking, running, skipping or jogging.  The Fun Run will be a trip around campus led by Derrick the Oiler! Pre-registration required.

Alumni Association Annual Breakfast                                 

Time: 8:30 a.m.      
Admission: $10/adult; $5/child (6-12), under 5 free      
Location: Lape Great Hall – Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion

Enjoy breakfast with alumni from all over the nation while congratulating the 2007 Distinguished Alumni:  Ms. Gladys Eakin ’33, Mr. George Tuttle ’36, Mr. Joseph E. & Mrs. Joanne H. Rockwell ’51, Mr. James Taylor ’72 and Mr. Jerome (Jerry) Kanney ’74.  The Old Main Award: Ms. Candee Ellsworth ’97, The Gold Medallion: Mr. Richard “Dick” Schaefer ’77, the Arch Award: Dr. Dwight Moody, and the class of 1957 on their Golden Anniversary.  Also the following alumni are to be voted on for service on the Alumni Association Board of Governors for a three-year term:  Sue Hite ’64, Keith Mohr ’71, Paul Calendrillo ’71 and Anthony Slappy ’90. The following officers need to be voted on:  President Julie McIntosh ’90, Vice President Doug Lyon ’80, and Secretary Jason Myers ’03. The Board of Governors Constitution needs the following updates voted on:  Article II The purpose of this organization shall be to promote The University of Findlay through activities and events involving the alumni community pursuant to their mutual interests and to support the university. 

Alumni Baseball Game

Join us at Swale Park to show us you still have baseball skills. Alumni will join us in our third annual 100-inning game. Pre-registration required.

Dedication of University Messenger Board

Location: Front of Koehler Complex along North Main Street

Dedication of the UF Messenger Board presented by the classes of 1957, 2007, and The University of Findlay. Rain location is in the Koehler Complex Lobby. No pre-registration required.   

Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony                                         

Time: 11:30 a.m.
Admission: $15
Location: AMU North

Enjoy the 34th induction ceremony of The University of Findlay Athletic Hall of Fame. Doors will open at 11 a.m.  The 2007 class will be - Lisa (Hallock) Evans ’93 - Women's CC and Track; Marty Parrill ’73 - Baseball; Bo Hurley ’96 - Football, Nikki (Clever) Ralston ’95 - Women’s Basketball; Ron Lucy ’95 - Wrestling; and Jim Ryan ’80 - Football and Baseball.

Alumni Cheerleading Reunion
Time:  2 p.m.

Charles T. Fox Society 15th Annual Tree Planting Ceremony
Time:  1:30 - 1:45 p.m.
Location:  Front Lawn of Old Main

Symbolizing the planting of seeds for the future growth of our students, programming and campus community with estate gifts.

Alumni Tailgate Party with faculty & staff

Time: 3 p.m.
Cost:  $7.50 adults, $4 children (3-12 years old)
Location: Inside Donnell Stadium, South lawn

Come show your support of UF Athletics and cheer the football team to victory.  The Alumni Tailgate tent will include delicious food from Tony’s restaurant which will be available pre-game and during half-time. 

Raffle drawing to win a helicopter ride immediately following the football game.  Come dressed in orange and black and watch for the judges voting on alumna/alumnus and student displaying the most UF spirit — it’s your chance to win $50 gift certificates to UF Oiler Mart!

The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced, as well as the winners of the banner and golf cart contests.
