Choosing a major at Findlay

Choosing a major at Findlay
Choosing a major thaat's right for you depends on:
  • Learning everything you can about yourself, including your interests, abilities, personal values and work life values, motivators, strengths, weaknesses, life goals
  • Learning everything you can about majors, career fields and professions, including academic and degree requirements, career field trends, income potential, and much more.
Career Planning and Undeclared Advising will guide you through activities to help you choose the right major and career field for you. Activities to help you decide include assessments, gathering occupational information, meeting with faculty in the academic programs that interest you, and meeting with professionals in career fields. We also help you make the connection between what you've learned about yourself and what you've learned about majors and career fields to make the best career decision for you.

Whether you are choosing a major or considering switching to a new major, we can help you make the career choice that's right for you.
