How To Be The Ultimate Oiler Neighbor
The time has finally come...you have waited a long time to earn senior status or reach that magical age of 22 and now you have the opportunity to live off campus. And with that opportunity comes some additional responsibilities. So check out the following tips to make sure you and your housemates know exactly how to be the Ultimate Oiler Neighbor!

Meet Your Neighbors
Introduce yourself, exchange phone numbers and let them know it is OK to call you if there is a problem.
Say Hello
Speak when you see your neighbors, even if it is just a quick "hello" and begin to develop a relationship.
Keep It Clean
Pick up litter...even if its not yours!
Keeping Time
If you are out late at night be courteous...don't shout or talk loudly with friends, slam doors or be a "loud talker" on you cell phone
Party Time
When having a party let your neighbors know in advance. Keep your guests inside, windows closed and end the party at a reasonable time and make sure you pick up after your guests.
When Trouble Arises
If a problem develops with a neighbor attempt first to fix it informally with a friendly call, note or text.
