Academic Technology Services
Through ATS services, the CTE can offer faculty the training and technology resources needed to successfully integrate new technologies into teaching and other academic endeavors. UF staff members will also find a variety of training and resources that are relevant to their work and office responsibilities. For example, our Blackboard course management system is not only used by faculty members for online courses, but also as an essential component of traditional and hybrid classes. Faculty and staff have also found a multiplicity of uses for Elluminate, a state-of-the-art collaboration tool that allows both for real-time audio/visual connectivity and the production of recordings.
ATS workshops cover a wide variety of topics that will assist with many other technology tools, programs and processes essential to both student learning and the fundamental operations of university work – v4 training, Microsoft Office Suite, Clickers, Polyvision Board use, ePortfolios, Podcast management & use, etc.
Please explore the many useful tools and training opportunities available to you and your office/academic department.
