Resident Dining Plan

Are the dining plans only available to those living in
residence halls?

    There are dining plans available for the entire University
    community. Plans include the Universal Dining Plans
    (Orange, Black and Oiler Plan), Findlay Munch Money
     and Residential Dining Plans.

What is the cost of the Resident Dining Plans?

    All Resident Dining Plans are the same price and are
    included in your room and board fees. Students then
    choose the plan that meets their lifestyle.

Did I already pick a Resident Dining Plan?

    You may have already been billed for a resident dining
    plan if you are living in a residence hall. The first time you
    are able to choose one of the five different dining plans is
    at registration in the summer. Once you pick your plan, it
    will stay the same every semester until you no longer
    reside in a residence hall.

Can you change your dining plan?

    Resident Dining Plans are contracted by the semester.
    At the end of the semester or up to the first Thursday of
    each semester, students may change their choice of
    dining plans. They can be changed by stopping by the
    Main Dining Service Office located in Henderson Dining
    Hall.

Are Resident Dining Plans available during breaks?

    Meals are not available during Thanksgiving, Winter,
    Spring, and Easter Breaks. Bonus Dollars are accepted at
    all open participating locations during all breaks except
    Winter Break.

What are “meals” on the Resident Dining Plans?

    Meals can be used in Henderson Dining Hall Market Place
    or Simply To Go.   The Market Place is an all-you-care-to-
    eat dining format consisting of nine different formats from
    Pizza, Grill, Deli, Farmers Market, Breakfast and Hometown
  to name a few. You can also choose a meal package to go
    at Simply To Go in Henderson Dining Hall. One entrance
    into Henderson's Marketplace or a meal package from
    Simply To Go equals one meal.

What are bonus dollars?

    Bonus Dollars is cash that you can spend at participating
    dining locations. One Bonus Dollar equals one dollar of
    purchasing power at The Cave, Domino’s Pizza, East of
    Chicago, Marco’s Pizza, Maria's Taco, George House and
    Henderson Dining Hall.

What is the most popular dining plan?

    Plan #2, 14 meals per week plus $140.00 bonus dollars,
    is by far the most popular dining plan with 68%
    participation. This is followed by Plan #1, a 19 meal plan,
    with 22% participation.

Findlay Munch Money

Who can sign up for Findlay Munch Money?

    Findlay Munch Money is for the entire University
    Community. Resident Students use it to enhance their
    Resident Dining Plans. All other students use Findlay
    Munch Money for savings and convenience.

What is Findlay Munch Money?

    Munch Money works just like a debit card. One dollar of
    Findlay Munch Money equals one dollar of purchasing
    power at The Cave, Domino’s Pizza, East of Chicago,
    Marco’s Pizza, Maria's Tacos, George House and
    Henderson Dining Hall.

What are the savings?

    You do not pay tax on purchases and there are
    promotion discounts available for those using Munch
    Money for purchases.

What are the details?

    Sign up ANY time. Enhance your Residential or University
    Dining Plan by adding Findlay Munch Money. Choose any
    six locations to dine. Munch Money Dollars carry over
    from semester to semester, year to year, as long as you
    are a student at The University of Findlay.

Universal Dining Plans

Who can sign up for Universal Dining Plans?

    Anybody who is not living in a residence hall.

What are the details?

    Sign up ANY time. Create your own Dining Plan in blocks
    of 10 meals for just $65. Choose any meal in
    Henderson Dining Hall to enjoy. Meals carry over from
    semester to semester, year to year, as long as you are a
    student at The University of Findlay.

Where can I use the meals?

    Meals are for Henderson Dining Hall.

Are there savings?

    YES! The cash price in Henderson Dining Hall for Lunch
    $6.99, Dinner $8.49 and Steak Nights/Special Meals are
    $8.99. You are paying $6.50 for any meal of your
    choosing.
