CANCELED The University of Findlay offers a four day summer camp for high school students providing an introduction to the world of forensic science, criminal justice and law. The camp allows students to experience a behind the scenes look at crime scenes, forensic science and criminal investigations. Students are provided the opportunity to use deductive reasoning and scientific skills to uncover a series of unsolved crimes using current forensic techniques, and explore the mystery of these unsolved crimes. This unique experience allows students to experience the practical use of biology, chemistry and mathematics to examine evidence left behind at the crime scene and attempt, to identify the suspect. This in-depth camp experience affords students the opportunity to interact with scientists and investigators involved with forensic science and criminal justice as they further explore their academic future and career opportunities.
