Residence Halls

Deming Hall

Deming Residence Hall for women was built adjoining the west wing of Lovett Hall in 1969. It included a new cafeteria, Henderson Dining Hall. It was named in honor of Myrtle Deming '19, who was employed as stenographer, executive secretary, registrar and vice president for business affairs, either part-time or full-time, from 1917-1974, a record of 57 years of service to Findlay. Henderson Dining Hall was expanded in 2003 when Sodexho Marriott introduced new food formats, which have won accolades from students.
