Residence Halls

Morey Hall

Morey Residence Hall for men opened in September 1963. It was named after Dean Emeritus Carroll A. Morey, who taught chemistry and geology beginning in 1921 and served as academic dean at Findlay College from 1930-1958. Dean Morey also served as acting president during 1943-47. After retiring, he continued working part-time at the College until 1972. In 1985, the first floor of Morey Hall was renovated as office space and the Office of Admissions has been located there for the past 15 years.
