Wireless Network
The University of Findlay's wireless network underwent an extensive upgrade over the summer of 2006, and now offers 802.11b and 802.11g Wi-Fi coverage over nearly 100% of campus. All administrative buildings, residence halls, educational classroom buildings and most outdoor locations are covered.
While most wireless 802.11b/g wireless network cards will work with the UF wireless network, Information Technology Services (ITS) strongly recommends a Netgear wireless card for those laptops or PDAs that do not already have a built-in wireless card.
