Labs and TE Rooms
1. In each of these lecture halls you will notice a screen mounted on the cabinets that looks like below or it could also be a blue screen with the time and room name):
2. If the screen is black, touch the panel (kind of hard) to get to the Main Menu.
3. At the bottom of the screen you can select System Projector Power TURN ON or TURN OFF. You can also select the source you will using (DVD PLAYER, VCR PLAYER, LAPTOP COMPUTER, WORKSTATION COMPUTER, LASERDISK (if applicable), or SLIDE PROJECTOR (if applicable)
THE PROJECTOR POWER MUST BE TURNED ON BEFORE SELECTING YOUR SOURCE!!!!!
4. Once you select Projector Power ON/OFF you will be asked if you want to USE THE VIDEO PROJECTOR (Yes or No). By choosing YES the overhead video projector will turn on.
5. The next Menu will take you to the Source Screen (depending on the source you will get different options). Some will have a screen on the right for more options (such as the DVD Player).
6. For VOLUME you will see a button on the RIGHT and the LEFT of the Main screen. By touching the proper VOLUME CONTROL you can adjust your VOLUME up and down. In some rooms there are controls for adjusting microphone volume also.
7. To turn the projection unit off, touch the RETURN TO MAIN MENU button. At the Main Menu under System Projection Power touch the Turn Off button. It will confirm that you want to turn off the equipment.FOR QUESTIONS OR INDIVIDUAL TRAINING, PLEASE CONTACT LORA RETTIG AT ext. 5968.
